Dipal Damani is an experienced professional in the social services, immigration, children and youth, and diversity and inclusion field. Key to the success of her engagements are her strong project management skills and injection of fresh ideas. Furthermore, as organizations work with an increasingly diverse workforce and community, Dipal provides a diversity and inclusion lens to her projects and draws upon her lived experience as an immigrant to Canada, during her teenage years, and as a South Asian woman. Dipal specializes in project management, research and policy development, strategic planning and writing, stakeholder consultations and program evaluation.
Dipal holds a Masters in Public Policy and Governance and a Certificate in Ethnic, Immigration and Pluralism Studies from the University of Toronto. She has held policy and program positions with the Ministry of Community and Social Services, was a former Policy Advisor with Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration and a Senior Policy Analyst with the Local Immigration Partnership at The Regional Municipality of York. For the past ten years, she has worked for all levels of government including federal, provincial and municipal.
